Every fall Medicare Advantage plans change. For 2027, Riverside County has 88 Medicare Advantage plans: 17 plans from 2026 are not coming back, 14 are new and 20 have new names. If you live in Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Wildomar or Lake Elsinore, check your mail before December 7.

What to do if your plan is ending
- Choose a new plan during Annual Enrollment, October 15 – December 7, 2026. Coverage starts January 1.
- If your plan is ending, you also get a Special Enrollment Period through February 28, 2027.
- Losing your plan may give you the right to buy certain Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policies without health questions, within 63 days after coverage ends.
- Already in a Medicare Advantage plan on January 1? You can make one change January 1 – March 31.
